Our safes are designed to resist the harshest attacks. A first-generation Caretaker model once successfully resisted a sustained attack with thermal cutting equipment, an angle grinder and drilling; the range has since been further improved with added attack-resistance measures and VdS-approved, high-grade locks fitted as standard.
Although hand-built to exceptionally high traditional engineering standards, we continually look at developments in materials science to improve quality and security, including components made from high-performance ceramics, ceramic steels and manganese steel.
We comply with all relevant data legislation, keep no records of customer key types, and our safes cannot be connected to the internet or operated remotely. For discretion, we offer a 'pay cash & collect' service, and bank transfers appear on statements simply as 'HS Products'.
Most of our safes remain in service for decades. For older or heavily used safes, we offer a full 'back to bare' bench service at our Essex factory, stripping, cleaning, replacing worn parts and reassembling the door, often available while you wait if pre-booked.
